The Salvation Army's programs and services
enable us to fulfill our mission with zeal throughout every
sector of our community. The Army's compassion is realized
through five core areas of service:
The Upward Bound Program of The
Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Houston was
funded and established in November of 2003 to serve 50 high
school students annually beginning in the 9th and 10th grades.
Currently, it is one of the few Upward Bound programs in the
nation that are administered and managed by a Boys & Girls Club
facility.
