Rehabilitation Facilities
When an individual makes the decision to change their life and overcome their drug and/or alcohol addiction, many have found the faith-based rehabilitation offered by The Salvation Army a true salvation.
Youth Programs and Boys & Girls Club
At our six Corps/Community Centers throughout the region children are offered a safe environment in which to explore and maximize their potential after school.
Social Services
In trying times many turn to The Salvation Army for assistance in paying their utility bills and rent.
Christmas Assistance
The traditional red kettle is an integral part of the Christmas scene, with millions of dollars donated each year to aid needy families, seniors, and the homeless, in keeping with the spirit of the season.
Senior Program
Be it in the privacy of their own homes, at one of our six Corps/Community Centers, or at one of our two independent-living, residential apartment-buildings for senior citizens, the elderly in our community have found a safe haven at The Salvation Army.
Upward Bound & College Assistance
At the Boys and Girls Club at Lee High School, hundreds of first generation, low-income families are seeing a member of their family graduate from high school and go on to college for the very first time.
Disaster Relief & Emergency Response
When a natural disaster or sudden catastrophe causes social and personal chaos, The Salvation Army moves into action - often minutes after the tragedy has occurred - to meet the needs of the victims.
Shelter Facilities
The Salvation Army many times means the difference between safety and danger. Women with children, for years, have been coming off the streets through The Salvation Army's Family Residence shelter for adult women with families.
