Family Residence

Cook – FT

Primary FunctionsPrepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules; ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment and appliances; maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Housing Monitor - FT

Primary FunctionsAssists residents staying in the Family Residence overnight; performs client intake procedures and prepares client intake records; monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance to house rules; maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that facility is maintained in a neat and proper order.

Harbor Light

Assistant Program Director – FT

Primary FunctionsAssists the Director in planning, developing, administering and evaluating all programs, including scheduling, reporting, record keeping and providing training and development in such a manner to ensure maximum benefits to clients and the community; ensures compliance to rules, guidelines and procedures of programs; leads, monitors and evaluates the implementation of programs in such a manner to ensure maximum benefits to clients and the community; assumes additional supervisory responsibility in absence of the Director.

Pasadena

Driver – PT

Primary FunctionsDrives a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities, as well as picking up donations

Custodian – PT

Primary Functions:  Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.

Sally’s House

Receptionist – FT

Primary Functions Answers the telephone in a courteous manner and directs calls to the appropriate destination; records accurate and complete messages when necessary; receives and receipts deliveries and donations; greets and announces visitors and clients; provides general information about The Salvation Army's operations and services; performs routine clerical work such as typing and filing; assures that all potential clients have completed the Sally’s House application correctly and provide proper identification, Social Security Card and the HUD required referral letter before being interviewed by the Director and/or Caseworker Supervisor.

Shelter Monitor – PT
