Family Residence

Cook – FT

Primary FunctionsPrepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules.  Ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner.  Cleans kitchen facilities, equipment and appliances.  Maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Resident Manager – FT

Primary Functions:  Supervises the operations and staff of the Family Residence in the absence of the Director, Administrative Assistant and Case Management Supervisor. Alternates weekly with other Resident Manager, residing in the building on duty and on call for a seven (7) day period. Approves or dismisses clients according to program guidelines, with approval of Case Management Supervisor and Director. Prepares, maintains and submits required reports. Maintains security of Family Residence clients, staff and property.

Garden City Boys & Girls Club

Program Aide– PT

Primary FunctionsAssists in facilitating and monitoring activities of the Boys and Girls Club; supervises and coaches sporting events; assists in maintaining the Boys and Girls Club facilities, equipment and grounds.

Custodian – PT

Primary Functions:  Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.

Driver – PT

Primary FunctionsDrives a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers to and from various locations; ensures the vehicle meets the scheduled maintenance and performs operator’s maintenance in accordance with established standards.

Groundskeeper – PT

Primary Functions:  Performs a variety of grounds keeping work in order to maintain the health and beautification of grounds surrounding Salvation Army buildings; mows and edges grass, trims trees/shrubs, blows leaves and debris from sidewalks.

Bell Ringers – FT

Primary FunctionsRings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations; ensures that the Kettle is never left unattended; greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner.
