Family Residence

Cook – FT

Primary Functions: Prepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules. Ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner. Cleans kitchen facilities, equipment and appliances. Maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Housing Monitor – FT

Primary Functions: Assists residents staying in the Family Residence overnight; performs client intake procedures and prepares client intake records; monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance to house rules; maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that facility is maintained in a neat and proper order.

International Corps

Custodian – PT (2 positions)

Primary Functions: Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.

Lead Child Care Worker – PT

Primary Functions: Assists and supervises children and infants in a church nursery environment; oversees and schedules other Child Care employees; leads applicable programs and reports statistics to administration.

Nursery Worker – PT

Primary Functions: Assists and supervises children and infants in a church nursery environment.

Pasadena

Groundskeeper – PT

Primary Functions: Performs a variety of grounds keeping work in order to maintain the health and beautification of grounds surrounding Salvation Army buildings; mows and edges grass, trims trees/shrubs, blows leaves and debris from sidewalks.

Bookkeeper – PT

Primary Functions:  Performs specialized clerical and bookkeeping tasks in the recording and maintenance of precise fiscal records and financial data; applies fundamental bookkeeping knowledge and skills to varied bookkeeping tasks such as posting, checking entries, issuing checks, balancing accounts and preparing financial reports for assigned accounts; prepares and maintains financial records in an accurate, complete and timely manner while ensuring the integrity, security and accountability of Salvation Army financial accounts.

Sally's House

Housing Monitor – PT

Primary Functions: Assumes responsibility for entire facility when on duty, summoning either the Director or Caseworker Supervisor, whichever is on call, for extreme emergencies; communicates policies, house rules and other information to residents; monitors dormitory floors and outside grounds for unusual activity; inspects client's belongings for contraband. Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

William Booth Gardens

Housekeeper/Maintenance Helper – FT

Primary Functions:  Performs daily cleaning and ensures upkeep of the building common areas, offices, restrooms and laundry; cleans vacant apartments for future move in; assists maintenance engineer as needed with changing lights, a/c filters, touch up painting, and lifting; reports problems to the maintenance engineer so that they may be addressed with the Director.
