Pitch, Hit & Run Competition at Baseball USA

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club Northwest Branch is hosting the local level competition of Aquafina's Pitch, Hit & Run Competition.  Aquafina's Pitch Hit and Run provides youngsters across the country the opportunity to participate in the official baseball skills competition of Major League Baseball.  Pitch, Hit & Run is intended to encourage youth participation and emphasize the fun element of baseball. There is no registration fee, participation is free.

“Reflections on Style” Boutique and Runway Show at River Oaks Country Club

Hosted by The Salvation Army’s Women’s Auxiliary with Lilly K. Andress as Honoree and Ann Bookout and Betty Hrncir as Chairmen. This event features a Runway Fashion Show, Luncheon and Chic Boutique, highlighting gently used designer fashions from some of Houston’s finest closets.

If you are interested in donating your gently used fashions, please drop off your clothing to 11211 Uptown Park Blvd (located between Gittings and Mint Baby).  Donations will be accepted through March 31st - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Salvation Army Night at Minute Maid Park
Houston Astros vs. Chicago Cubs
The Houston Astros are honored to host "Salvation Army Night at Minute Maid  Park" on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 as they take on the Chicago Cubs. Cheer Houston's hometown team on as they honor our charitable organization for the now over 12 decades of service in this community. 

The National Anthem will be sung by The Salvation Army's Harbor Light Choir.
