On Christmas Day, hundreds of local men, women and children to be fed by The Salvation Army

On Christmas Day, December 25, 2013, The Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command will serve hearty Christmas Day meals to hundreds of local men, women and children who do not have anywhere else to celebrate Christmas Day. Turkey, dressing and all the trimmings, as well as several tasty desserts will be served to Houston’s homeless, elderly, shelter residents, families and those affected by the economy, at The Salvation Army’s Family Residence – a shelter for homeless women and families – and the Harbor Light Center – a shelter for homeless men

ALL INTERESTED MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA ARE INVITED TO ATTEND.

Why: To provide homemade Christmas Day Meals to thousands of local residents in the Greater Houston region who are in a disadvantaged situation.
